Turkey d’Dersy
Recipe provided by longtime customers Dr. John and Sandra (Dersy) Lutzker
Dersy changes her recipes all the time, but it basically goes like this:
In Mission Harvest Olio Nuovo Olive Oil, sauté low-fat ground turkey and yellow or red onion and garlic until brown.
Add whatever fresh vegetables you have like zucchini, tomatoes, red pepper, salt, pepper, mushrooms, and sometimes asparagus
Add chicken or vegetable broth
Cover and simmer until veggies are done to satisfaction.
Serve over organic brown rice…sometimes pasta…sometimes kasha
It’s that simple. We often put grated Parmigianino/Romano on it in our bowls.
