Basil Olive Oil

Description

A bountiful fresh batch of basil is added to our later harvest olive crush to create our Basil Olive Oil. This combination of fresh basil crushed together with our olives creates a masterpiece of fresh flavor, it tastes like a jar of pesto, so delicious!! Use generously on your favorite salads, vegetables, pasta, rice, marinades and bread. Many of our customers have called this olive Oil a “Game Changer” in their Kitchen.

Try this delicious Italian salad:

• Chopped fresh spinach
• Chopped cherry tomatoes
• Diced red bell peppers
• Pepperoncinis
• Green olives
• Fresh bread, cubed
• Grated parmesan
• Drizzle with basil olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, and freshly ground salt & pepper.

Try Michael’s pesto recipe:

• 4 bunches of Basil
• 16 oz Calolea Olive Oil
• 3/4 lb. Walnuts
• 3 cups Parmesan
• 2 Tbls. Salt
• 2 Tbls. White Pepper
• Juice of 3 Large Lemons

Variation: for any garlic lovers, try it with our Garlic Olive Oil instead!
