Passport Weekend

Join us October 6 & 7 for Passport Weekend, a grand celebration with farm-fresh food sampling and award-winning wine tasting at all of the stops along the Sierra Oro Farm Trail!

Meet our farmers and winemakers as you enjoy a self-guided tour along the beautiful Butte County countryside, all while sampling the very best of our agricultural heritage.

This annual event is the only weekend that all farms along the trail are guaranteed to be open – and they pull out all the stops to showcase our local culinary community!

Passports are just $25 ($30 day-of) and include a free wine glass and sampling at each stop. Don’t forget to pick up your Passport Weekend ChicoBag to make shopping on the trail a breeze!

The Friends of Long Marine Lab “Whale of an Auction” held it’s annual

silent auction to support the Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz.

Jim and Marie were the highest bidders and won the Calolea Olive Oil Tasting, it

was a real pleasure to meet them.  I do not think they were expecting the royal treatment

they received from the Keller’s  at Calolea Olive Oil’s tasting room!

Local beet, fennel, tomatoes, feta cheese salad Calolea Grass/Olive rasied Beef with Arugula/radiccio salad tossed with Calolea Meyer Lemon.

drizzled with Calolea Blood Orange Olive Oil.
